Gun Drill Special PricingSterling Gun Drills single flute gun drills are stocked with the R-1 “Lowland” Contour and N-8 nose grind. In stock gun drills have standard “inch” drivers common to USA industry standards. Metric drivers for use with our Drilling System’s Stationary or Rotary Toolholder's, as well as many other special inch or metric drivers are available at no extra charge on our Standard 3 – 4 week delivery. For $20.00 additional per drill, special feature gun drills are available on a three to five day “Rush” manufacture. This includes special lengths, diameters, R-3 “Highland” and other Contours, non-standard nose grinds, non standard drivers, and more. Special DiametersThere is no additional cost for special diameter drills when manufactured at our standard 3 – 4 week delivery. Look to our printed or Website price list for the next larger standard diameter price. Special diameter drills can be manufactured on a “rush” delivery. Add $20.00 per drill and allow three to five working day for manufacture. It may be possible to modify in-stock standard drills into “rush” delivery specials. Add $20.00 to the base drill price and allow one to three working days.Special LengthsThere is no additional cost for special length drills within the standard length range for that drill diameter when manufactured at our standard 3 – 4 week delivery. Look to our price list’s next longer standard drill length for that diameter. Special length drills can be manufactured on a “rush” delivery. Add $20.00 per drill and allow three to five working days for manufacture. In-stock standard drills under 3/8" diameter may be modified into shorter special lengths on a “super rush” delivery. Add $20.00 per drill to the standard drill price, and allow one to two working days. Non-standard lengths beyond the longest standard length for that diameter are priced at the next "standard increment" for that diameter range. Example, a .3281" x 42" is priced at the 48" length ($12.00 over the 36" length).
Special DriversThere is no additional cost for fitting non-standard in stock inch or metric drivers when manufactured at our standard 3 – 4 week delivery. We can modify or change standard drivers from in-stock drills to another size on a same or next day rush. Add $20.00 per drill to the standard drill price. Exception: smaller drivers onto larger diameter drills may require an "inserted" or reduced shoulder driver. Inserted drivers must be machined to fit into the tube rather than over it. Reduced shoulder drivers fit over the tube with the rear section to the customer requirement. Both increase the standard overall length by ¾" to 1 ¼". Rush inserted or reduced shoulder driver changes add $40.00 per drill to the standard drill price. Allow one to two days. Inserted or reduced shoulder drivers on standard delivery are priced at $20.00 per drill over standard.Quantity Pricing• Quantity pricing beyond our price list’s 12-23 piece bracket:• Less 2.5% for 24-49 pieces Less 5.0% for 50-99 pieces • Less 7.5% for 100+ pieces Re-Sharpening ServicesUsually, a one to two day turnaround.Standard nose grind price without major chips. Special FeaturesInner tube construction, stepped drills, gun reamers, ball nose grinds or other special grinds or features not listed above are priced on application.TiN, TiCN, TiAlN or other tip coatings are priced on application. Industry standard (N-4, N-13, N-73) or semi-custom nose grinds: No extra charge on standard delivery. Alteration of in-stock drill nose grind: Add re-sharpening service cost and one to two days to delivery. Non-standard Contour: No additional charge over "standard" or “rush” manufacture lead time. |
