2012 - Sterling Gun Drills Product Pricing

Beginning January 1, 2012, product pricing for standard Gun drills, Solid Flute gun drills, Half Round drills, Twinmaster drills, System and system parts, Services and Accessories will not change from pricing set for and during 2011.

Pricing for special manufactures drills will remain at the standard drill price based on the next larger diameter/longer length standard, when ordered on standard manufacture (presently at four weeks).

Starting January 1, 2012, pricing for "rush" manufactured specials, presently at five days, will adjust to a new format for the first time since this business started 17 years ago. A flat fee of $20.00 per drill for "rush" service special drills has been in place and remains suitable for drills up to .750" diameter. However, for larger diameter drills a flat fee does not reflect the true cost of production in terms of labor and integration into scheduling. Therefore, beginning January 1, 2012, "rush" manufactured special drills of all styles ordered on a "rush" will be priced at:

min. to .7500" dia., add $20.00 per drill
.7501" to 1.125" dia., add $30.00 per drill
1.1251" to max. dia., add $40.00 per drill

Special drill pricing as above will still provide a competitive advantage over the special pricing of competitors, and should make the availability of special drills more equitable for all customers. In addition, we continue to provide value-added technical service second to none.

We regret any inconvenience this will cause.
